AuKing Mining has reported high-grade rare earth oxide (TREO) intercepts from several areas of the Nathace Hill project in Malawi. The results include significant hits in the western, north-east, and south-west zones, providing evidence for a larger carbonatite-hosted mineralised system.
Chilwa Minerals Limited has provided an update on Phase I resource drilling at its Mpyupyu West heavy mineral sands discovery, confirming the geological outline and consistent stratigraphy over a 17 km² area. While 218 holes have been completed, no assay results are reported, with initial heavy mineral content results expected in late October. The announcement also includes a restatement of the JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate for other deposits, last updated in June 2026.
