Drilling Expands Mineralized Footprint at Penelope

Libra Energy Materials Inc. reported the remaining assay results from its maiden auger drill program at the Penelope Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, which successfully expanded the near-surface rare earth element (REE) enrichment footprint. The program extended mineralization up to 700m from the Elena target, with notable intercepts including 2.0m at 1,421 ppm TREO from surface in Hole PLE-AD-021 and 12.0m at 801 ppm TREO from surface in Hole PLE-AD-010, with several holes ending in mineralization. The results also show consistent gallium values and, in places, a high proportion of magnet rare earths, although the company considers Penelope non-core to its long-term strategy.

IMC Rare Earths Insights: Why the Global Search for Critical Minerals is Bringing New Attention to Brazil

IMC Rare Earths has announced a new high-grade, near-surface terbium-rich mineralized zone at the Itarantim project in Brazil, located beyond the boundaries of its existing 1.1 billion tonne inferred resource. The company also reported preliminary terbium extraction recoveries ranging from 64% to 83% from the newly identified zone.

EMA: Annual Report to shareholders

Eminence Minerals Limited (EMA) released its Annual Report for the year ended June 30, 2026, reporting a reduced loss of $1.29 million. The company restructured its portfolio, divesting the Alturas Antimony Project in Canada and the Mata da Corda Titanium Project in Brazil, and raised A$2.53 million in capital. EMA is now focused on its Hamersley Iron Ore Project in Western Australia, which is currently subject to judicial review regarding heritage approvals, and its Campo Grande and newly acquired Tayra Rare Earth Projects in Bahia, Brazil, where exploration is ongoing.

ENV: ENV Advances Resource Delineation Drilling at Naked Hill

Enova Mining Ltd has advanced its resource delineation drilling program at the Naked Hill REE Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, completing 52 new auger holes for a total of 68 holes and 1,469 metres. The program aims to define the extent of saprolite-hosted Ionic Adsorption Clay (IAC) rare earth element mineralisation to support a maiden Mineral Resource. Over 400 samples have been submitted for assay and leach testing, with initial results expected in early October 2026.

GMN: Ayrton Senna augur drilling rare earths zone extended

Gold Mountain Limited announced significant rare earth element auger drilling results from its Ayrton Senna Prospect in Brazil, extending mineralisation up to 13 kilometres west of a previously defined Exploration Target. The drilling returned high TREO grades, including 10 metres at 2,145 ppm TREO, with favourable magnet rare earth oxide (MREO) ratios. While the results indicate strong potential for deeper mineralisation, the auger drilling is for exploration geochemistry only and not suitable for resource estimation due to limited QA/QC.

Atlantico's ioGAS Interpretation Identifies Multiple Rare Earth Anomalies as Higher-TREO Sample Locations Span 19.4 Kilometres at Novo Cruzeiro

Atlantico Energy Metals Corp. announced positive results from an ioGAS interpretation of its first-pass stream-sediment sampling program at the Novo Cruzeiro project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The analysis identified multiple rare earth element anomalies, with 13 samples exceeding 1,000 ppm Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) and Magnet Rare Earth Oxides (MREO) consistently representing 18.8% to 21.5% of TREO. These higher-TREO samples span a significant 19.4-kilometre distance, providing a clear framework for higher-resolution follow-up exploration.
