EMP: Approval of Judith2 Appraisal Well Drilling Environment Plan
Emperor Energy has received approval from NOPSEMA for its Judith-2 Appraisal Well Drilling Environment Plan, a major milestone for the offshore Gippsland Basin project in Victoria, Australia. This approval aligns with the recent securing of the VALARIS 107 drilling rig, with drilling targeted for April 2027. The well aims to appraise a 166 Bcf 2C Contingent gas resource and explore a 142 Bcf P50 Prospective gas resource in the deeper Longtom sands.
