Omega Oil & Gas drilling tests northern extension of Canyon play

Omega Oil & Gas has spudded the Canyon North-1 well in the Taroom Trough, Queensland, to test the northern extension of the Canyon oil and gas play. The well is planned to reach a depth of approximately 4000m, with results expected in about four weeks.
