Amigo Resources PLC announced the acquisition of the Kamiesberg heavy mineral sands project in South Africa for USD 33 million, expanding its African footprint and diversifying its commodity base. The project boasts a significant JORC-compliant resource of 2.71 billion tonnes, including 0.48 billion tonnes in the Measured category, and is described as shovel-ready with advanced permitting. The acquisition is structured as a reverse takeover and is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, with completion targeted by January 2027.
