COD: Positive Cobalt Flotation Results at Elizabeth Creek
Coda Minerals has reported positive laboratory flotation results for cobalt at its Elizabeth Creek Project in South Australia. The testwork demonstrated that up to 83% of cobalt remaining after whole-ore chloride leaching can be recovered into a high-grade concentrate (1.48% Co) with a low mass pull (4.0%). These preliminary results open a pathway to potentially include cobalt revenue, which was previously excluded, into the project's economics, though further testwork and capital expenditure assessment are required.
