Substantial Maiden Resource Estimate at Wapouzé

Oriole Resources announced a substantial maiden JORC Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate for its 85%-owned Wapouzé Limestone Project in Cameroon. The estimate totals 32.2 million tonnes at an average grade of 50.33wt% CaO, 1.13wt% MgO, and 6.06wt% SiO₂, with a 42wt% CaO cut-off. This resource, entirely in the Inferred category, demonstrates the potential for a multi-decade limestone quarrying operation and will support an Exploitation Licence Application and a preliminary economic assessment.

High-grade Limestone Confirmed at Wapouzé Project

Oriole Resources PLC announced positive results from its maiden diamond drilling program at the 85%-owned Wapouzé limestone project in Cameroon, confirming significant widths of high-grade limestone with average CaO grades suitable for cement manufacturing and chemical lime. The results, which include notable intersections such as 53.50m at 53.88wt% CaO and 0.88wt% MgO, will be used for a maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate and an Exploitation Licence Application in Q4-2026. The company noted the absence of dolomite and low magnesium content, indicating high-quality material.
