Summary

White Gold Corp. announced significant high-grade gold drill results from its 2026 exploration program at the Golden Saddle and VG deposits in Yukon, Canada. Hole WHTGS26D0219 at Golden Saddle intersected 5.13 g/t gold over 7.9m within a broader 1.47 g/t gold over 38.1m, expanding the high-grade core. At the VG Deposit, holes QV26-026 and QV26-024 extended mineralization by 90m to 320m down-plunge, including 2.53 g/t gold over 18.9m, bridging a gap to a historical high-grade intercept and indicating substantial growth potential for future resource updates.

Reasoning: New high-grade gold intercepts significantly expanded known mineralization at the Golden Saddle and VG deposits, validating the geological model and indicating strong potential for future resource growth. QA/QC procedures were disclosed, and true widths were estimated.

Positive factors

  • High-grade intercepts
  • Significant down-plunge extension
  • Expansion of high-grade core
  • Validation of geological model
  • Potential for resource upgrade
  • QA/QC disclosed
  • True width disclosed

Facts used in scoring: 23

Classification and evidence

Bonanza Interceptpositive

Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.

Why it applies: The intercept of 10.48 g/t Au over 2.88m in WHTGS26D0219 exceeds the 5 g/t Au exceptional threshold for open-pit gold deposits.

Evidence · table

“10.48”

Context: 2.88

Bonanza Interceptpositive

Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.

Why it applies: The intercept of 5.13 g/t Au over 7.88m in WHTGS26D0219 exceeds the 5 g/t Au exceptional threshold for open-pit gold deposits.

Evidence · table

“5.13”

Context: 7.88

True Width Disclosedpositive

Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.

Why it applies: The document states that 'True widths are estimated at 80-95 % of core length at Golden Saddle and 90-95 % at VG'.

Evidence · text

“True widths are estimated at 80-95 % of core length at Golden Saddle and 90-95 % at VG.”

Step-Out Extensionpositive

Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

Why it applies: Holes QV26-026 and QV26-024 extended drilled mineralization at VG well beyond the previous deepest intercept and current resource limits, extending continuous mineralization from approximately 230m to 320m down-plunge.

Evidence · text

“Together, the two holes extend continuous mineralization at VG from approximately 230m to 320m down-plunge over a strike length of approximately 150m .”

QA/QC Disclosedpositive

Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).

Why it applies: The release includes a detailed 'Analytical Methods & QA/QC' section describing sample preparation, analytical methods, and a QA/QC program including standards, blanks, and duplicates.

Evidence · text

“Analytical Methods & QA/QC Diamond drilling on the White Gold Property consisted of NQ size drill core, which was cut in half on site using a diamond saw. Analytical work on the half core was performed by Bureau Veritas, an internationally recognized analytical services provider, at its South Vancouver, British Columbia laboratory. Sample preparation was carried out at its Whitehorse, Yukon prep facility and then shipped to BV's Vancouver, BC facility for analysis. All diamond drill core samples were prepared using the PRP70-250 package, where samples are weighed, dried, and crushed to greater than 70% passing a 2mm sieve, then pulverized to greater than 85% passing 75 microns. Samples were analyzed by method FA430 (30g fire assay with AAS finish) for gold, and by package MA250 (0.25g, 4 acid digestion and ICP-MS analysis) for ultra-trace multi-element ICP. Samples returning greater than 10 g/t Au were re-analyzed by 30 g fire assay with gravimetric finish. The work was completed using industry standard procedures, including a quality assurance/quality control ("QA/QC") program consisting of insertion of standard, blank, and duplicate samples into the sample stream. BV also runs a comprehensive QA/QC program of standards, duplicates, and blanks within each sample stream.”

Infill Drillingneutral

Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.

Why it applies: Hole WHTGS26D0219 was designed to 'test the western extent of the high-grade core of the Golden Saddle Main Zone' and 'extend and upgrade the surrounding blocks within the current mineral resource model'.

Evidence · text

“Hole WHTGS26D0219 was drilled at an azimuth of 161.6° and a dip of -57.7° to a final depth of 777.3 m to test the western extension of the high-grade core of the Golden Saddle Main Zone. The hole intersected 1.47 g/t Au over 38.08 m from 397.12 m depth, including 5.13 g/t Au over 7.88 m , with a higher-grade core of 10.48 g/t Au over 2.88 m (Figure 4). The intercept extends the high-grade (greater than 5 g/t Au) core of the Main Zone approximately 50 m to the west and is expected to extend and upgrade the surrounding blocks within the current mineral resource model.”

Stale Data Re-releasenegative

Historical results re-announced with no new assays or reinterpretation — low genuine novelty.

Why it applies: Hole QV13-011 is explicitly noted as 'Historical (2013)' and its results were 'previously disclosed' in a 2014 technical report.

How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
