Minestarters Atlas analysis

Summary

Scottie Resources reported broad and high-grade gold drill results from its 2025 program at the Blueberry Contact Zone, including 14.4 g/t gold over 40.75 metres and 42.5 g/t gold over 4.40 metres. These final assays confirm consistent high-grade gold mineralization across multiple zones and contribute to advancing the Scottie Gold Mine Project towards a Feasibility Study in H1 2027. The company highlighted that 44% of holes hit more than 2 metres of 5+ g/t gold, with some intercepts reaching bonanza grades.

Reasoning: The drill program delivered numerous high-grade and broad gold intercepts, including bonanza grades, across multiple zones within the Blueberry Contact Zone, significantly advancing the project towards a Feasibility Study. The results confirm consistent high-grade gold mineralization and expand known zones.

Positive factors

  • High-grade intercepts
  • Broad intercepts
  • Multiple zones
  • QA/QC disclosed
  • QP signed
  • Feasibility Study Supporting
  • Step-Out Extension

Negative factors

  • Apparent Width Only

Facts used in scoring: 114

Classification and evidence

Bonanza Interceptpositive

Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.

Why it applies: The document reports multiple gold intercepts significantly above the exceptional threshold for an underground gold project, including 265.0 g/t Au over 1.00m and 101.0 g/t Au over 1.00m.

Evidence · text

“101.0 g/t Gold”

Apparent Width Onlynegative

Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.

Why it applies: The footnote in the drill results table explicitly states that 'True width of the intervals has not yet been established by drilling'.

Evidence · text

“*True width of the intervals has not yet been established by drilling”

QA/QC Disclosedpositive

Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).

Why it applies: The release includes a detailed 'Quality Assurance and Control' section outlining the laboratory, sampling procedures, and assay methods.

Evidence · text

“Quality Assurance and Control Results from samples taken during the 2025 field season were analyzed at SGS Minerals in Burnaby, BC. The sampling program was undertaken under the direction of Dr. Thomas Mumford. The majority of drill core was NQ in diameter, with select holes of HQ size primarily taken for geomechanical purposes. Prior to sampling drill core was cut in half lengthwise, with half sent for assay and the remaining half kept in Stewart, BC. Standards, blanks, and duplicate samples were taken at intervals and frequencies that meet or exceed industry best practices. A secure chain of custody is maintained in transporting and storing all samples. Gold was assayed using a fire assay with atomic absorption spectrometry and gravimetric finish when required (+9 g/t gold). Analysis by four acid digestion with multi-element ICP-AES analysis was conducted on all samples with silver and base metal over-limits being re-analyzed by emission spectrometry.”

QP/CP Signedpositive · Story-specific tag

Qualified Person (QP) or Competent Person (CP) named and signed off — a member of a recognized professional association (e.g., AusIMM, SME, AIG, P.Geo) with relevant experience.

Why it applies: Dr. Thomas Mumford, P.Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information.

Evidence · text

“Dr. Thomas Mumford, P.Geo., non-independent President of the Company, a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information contained in this news release on behalf of the Company.”

NI 43-101 Compliantpositive · Story-specific tag

Resource estimate prepared in compliance with NI 43-101 (Canada) — high reporting standard.

Why it applies: The technical information in the news release has been reviewed and approved by a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.

Evidence · text

“Dr. Thomas Mumford, P.Geo., non-independent President of the Company, a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information contained in this news release on behalf of the Company.”

Feasibility Study Supportingneutral · Story-specific tag

No canonical definition is currently available.

Why it applies: The company states its intention to 'advance the Scottie Mine Project towards completing a Feasibility study in the first half of 2027'.

Evidence · text

“advancing the Scottie Mine Project towards completing a Feasibility study in the first half of 2027”

Step-Out Extensionpositive

Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

Why it applies: The company states that 'exploration at the Scottie Gold Mine Project has delivered outstanding results, including the discovery of four new high-grade zones' and 'expansion of multiple historic deposits'.

Evidence · text

“exploration at the Scottie Gold Mine Project has delivered outstanding results, including the discovery of four new high-grade zones — Blueberry Contact Zone, Domino, D-Zone, and P-Zone — and the expansion of multiple historic deposits.”

How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
