## Minestarters Atlas summary

RPX Gold announced high-grade gold assay results from 12 drill holes at its Wawa Gold Project in Ontario, extending mineralization within the PEA open pit. Key intercepts include 25.50 g/t gold over 4.26 metres, with a bonanza grade of 135.00 g/t gold over 0.71 metres. These results will be incorporated into an updated mineral resource estimate to support a pre-feasibility study targeted for H1 2027.

Reasoning: RPX Gold reported very strong gold drill intercepts, including bonanza grades, which significantly extend known high-grade mineralization within the planned open pit at the Wawa Gold Project. These results are crucial for advancing the project towards a Pre-Feasibility Study and updating the resource model, indicating strong potential for economic extraction.

- Positive factor: Exceptional high-grade gold intercepts, including 135.00 g/t Au over 0.71 m and 25.50 g/t Au over 4.26 m.

- Positive factor: Extension of high-grade gold mineralization within the PEA open pit design, de-risking future development.

- Positive factor: Results will support a Pre-Feasibility Study \(PFS\) and an updated Mineral Resource Estimate \(MRE\).

- Positive factor: Comprehensive QA/QC procedures disclosed, including certified lab, QP sign-off, standards, blanks, duplicates, and umpire testing.

- Positive factor: Transparent compositing parameters with stated cut-off grade and internal dilution rules.

- Negative factor: True widths are estimated as a range \(50-95%\) rather than precisely stated for each intercept, introducing some geometric uncertainty.

Low confidence — this extraction should be reviewed alongside the original source.

## Classification and evidence

**Bonanza Intercept**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.

Why it applies: The intercept of 135.00 g/t gold over 0.71 metres in hole SD-26-701 is exceptionally high-grade, well above typical deposit-type norms for gold.

Evidence · text

> 135.00 g/t Au over 0.71 m in SD-26 701

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: The release includes a detailed QA/QC section mentioning the use of external gold standards, blanks, quarter-core duplicates, analysis by Activation Laboratories Ltd. \(Actlabs\), and umpire testing at Agat Laboratories, with QP sign-off.

Evidence · text

> Quality Assurance/Quality Control \("QA/QC"\) Measures Individual drill core samples are labelled and sawn in half along a pre-marked cutting line. A consistent half-core sample is then placed in an individual numbered plastic sample bag that is sealed. The remaining half-core samples are kept at the Company’s core storage facility located on the Wawa Gold project. Quarter-core duplicates are taken from certain samples to define the variability of gold distribution. Groups of samples are then placed into durable rice bags sealed with security seals to be transported by commercial carrier for analysis at Activation Laboratories Ltd. \(Actlabs\), Ancaster, Ontario. NQ core assays are obtained by 50-gram fire-assay with a AA finish or by 1-kilogram metallic screen fire assay. The 1-kilogram metallic screen assay method is selected for samples anticipated to contain coarse gold and when the original fire-assay returns results greater or equal to 2.25 g/t Au. The residual coarse reject portions of the samples remain in storage for a minimum 90-day period if further work or verification is needed. As part of its QA/QC program, RPX Gold inserts external gold standards \(low- to high-grade\) and blanks every 20 samples and routinely inserts blanks immediately after samples with visible gold. Quarter core duplicates are routinely inserted to evaluate the natural variability of gold mineralization. Assay certificates are sent to at least three members of the senior management team, and they are directly accessible from the WebLIMS portal of Actlabs. Approximately 5% of the pulps and coarse rejects analyzed at Actlabs are sent to Agat Laboratories in Thunder Bay for umpire testing. Qualified Person Jean-François Montreuil, P.Geo., Vice President, Exploration at RPX Gold, and a Qualified Person as defined under National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in this press release.

**Compositing Transparent**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Cut-off grade and internal dilution rules are clearly stated for reported intervals.

Why it applies: The release clearly states the compositing rules: 'Intercepts are calculated using a 0.40 g/t Au cut-off and a maximum of 6.0 m of internal dilution with no capping applied and are reported over core lengths.'

Evidence · text

> Intercepts are calculated using a 0.40 g/t Au cut-off and a maximum of 6.0 m of internal dilution with no capping applied and are reported over core lengths.

**Apparent Width Only**

Polarity: negative

Definition: Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.

Why it applies: Intervals are reported as core lengths, and while true widths are estimated to vary between 50% to 95% of core length, a specific true width is not stated for each individual intercept.

Evidence · text

> True widths are estimated to vary between 50 to 95% of the reported core length in the Jubilee Shear.

**Step-Out Extension**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

Why it applies: The CEO states that 'Today’s results, together with previously reported high-grade results in the South Pit area, continues to extend high-grade gold mineralization within the 2026 Preliminary Economic Assessment \(“2026 PEA”\) pit design.'

Evidence · text

> Today’s results, together with previously reported high-grade results in the South Pit area, continues to extend high-grade gold mineralization within the 2026 Preliminary Economic Assessment \(“ 2026 PEA ”\) pit design

**Infill Drilling**

Polarity: neutral

Definition: Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.

Why it applies: One of the stated aims of the 2026 drilling program is to 'Complete the conversion of inferred mineral resources to indicated mineral resources in areas associated with the PEA mine plan'.

Evidence · text

> Complete the conversion of inferred mineral resources to indicated mineral resources in areas associated with the PEA mine plan

## How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
