## Minestarters Atlas summary

Red Pine Exploration announced new drill results from its Wawa Gold Project, highlighted by an intercept of 9.03 g/t gold over 14.00 m, including 83.90 g/t gold over 1.00 m. These near-surface, high-grade results confirm mineralization continuity and support the project's open-pit potential. The company plans to use these results to update its mineral resource estimate ahead of a Preliminary Economic Assessment \(PEA\) in early 2026.

Reasoning: The drill results demonstrate significant high-grade gold mineralization near surface, which is highly positive for the project's open-pit potential and upcoming resource update. The robust QA/QC procedures support the reliability of the data. The main intercept of 9.03 g/t Au over 14.00 m is exceptional for an open-pit orogenic gold deposit, and several other intercepts are strong to exceptional, exceeding the 75th percentile of comparable deposits.

- Positive factor: High-grade gold intercepts, including 9.03 g/t Au over 14.00 m and 83.90 g/t Au over 1.00 m, which are exceptional for an open-pit orogenic gold deposit.

- Positive factor: Drilling confirms continuity of high-grade mineralization near surface, supporting open-pit potential.

- Positive factor: Results will strengthen the geological database for an upcoming mineral resource estimate update and PEA.

- Positive factor: Extensive QA/QC procedures are disclosed, including certified labs, standards, blanks, duplicates, and umpire testing, enhancing data credibility.

- Negative factor: True widths are estimated as a range \(70-95%\) rather than precisely stated for each intercept, introducing some uncertainty.

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: The release includes extensive QA/QC disclosure, mentioning certified labs \(Actlabs, Agat Laboratories\), QP sign-off, and stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates, umpire testing\).

Evidence · text

> Quality Assurance/Quality Control \("QA/QC"\) Measures Individual drill core samples are labelled and split in half along a pre-marked cutting line using a diamond saw. A consistent half-core sample is then placed in an individual plastic sample bag that is sealed. The remaining half-core samples are kept at the core storage facility of the Company located on the Wawa Gold project. Quarter-core duplicates are taken from certain samples to define the variability of gold distribution. Groups of samples are then placed into durable rice bags sealed with security seals to be transported using a commercial carrier for analysis to Actlabs in Ancaster, Ontario. NQ core assays were obtained by 50-gram fire-assaying-AA finish or by 1-kilogram screen fire assay. The 1-kilogram screen assay method is selected for samples anticipated to contain coarse gold and when the fire-assay-AA finish return results greater or equal to 2.25 g/t Au. The residual coarse reject portions of the samples remain in storage for a minimum 90-day period if further work or verification is needed. As part of its QA/QC program, Red Pine inserts external gold standards \(low- to high-grade\) and blanks every 20 samples and routinely insert blanks immediately after samples with visible gold. Quarter core duplicates are routinely inserted to evaluate the natural variability of gold mineralization. Assay certificates are sent to at least three members of the senior management team, and they are directly accessible from the WebLIMS portal of Actlabs. Approximately 5% of the pulps and coarse rejects analyzed at Actlabs are sent to Agat Laboratories in Thunder Bay for umpire testing.

**Compositing Transparent**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Cut-off grade and internal dilution rules are clearly stated for reported intervals.

Why it applies: The cut-off grade of 0.40 g/t Au and maximum internal dilution of 6.0 m are clearly stated for reported intervals.

Evidence · text

> \*Intercepts are calculated using a 0.40 g/t Au cut-off and a maximum of 6.0 m of internal dilution with no capping applied and are reported over core lengths.

**Apparent Width Only**

Polarity: negative

Definition: Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.

Why it applies: True widths are estimated to vary between 70% to 95% of the reported core length, but specific true widths are not provided for individual intercepts.

Evidence · text

> True widths are estimated to vary between 70% to 95% of the reported core length in the Jubilee Shear.

**Infill Drilling**

Polarity: neutral

Definition: Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.

Why it applies: The drilling program is described as 'designed to better define gold mineralization' and 'strengthen the geological database for the forthcoming update of the mineral resource', indicating infill drilling for resource definition.

Evidence · text

> additional results from the recent near surface drilling program designed to better define gold mineralization in the area of a potential open pit at the Wawa Gold Project

**PEA-Supporting**

Polarity: neutral

Definition: Resource estimate prepared to support a Preliminary Economic Assessment — early-stage study.

Why it applies: The company states its immediate focus is updating the mineral resource estimate ahead of a PEA in early 2026, indicating the drilling supports this economic assessment.

Evidence · text

> Our immediate focus is updating the mineral resource estimate ahead of a PEA \(“Preliminary Economic Assessment”\) in early 2026, which will define the optimal mining and processing strategy.

Reasoning: This historical intercept shows strong grade over a moderate width, providing context for the current drilling program and supporting the overall potential, though it is not new information.

- Positive factor: Grade of 4.42 g/t Au is strong for an open-pit orogenic gold deposit.

- Positive factor: Intercept width of 18.99 m is moderate, indicating good continuity.

- Negative factor: This is a historical intercept, reducing its novelty.

## How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
