Summary
Scottie Resources Corp. announced high-grade gold drill results from its 2026 program at the Blueberry Contact Zone within the Scottie Gold Mine Project in British Columbia. Key intercepts include 27.9 g/t gold over 4.15 m and 51.6 g/t gold over 2.25 m, which are significantly above the project's average. These results support both resource expansion and conversion of inferred ounces to indicated, with plans for an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in the first half of 2027.
Reasoning: Scottie Resources reported multiple high-grade gold intercepts, including bonanza grades of 51.6 g/t Au over 2.25 m and 27.9 g/t Au over 4.15 m, which are significantly above the project's average grade and the 75th percentile for epithermal gold deposits. These results confirm continuity and expand known mineralization, supporting the company's objective to convert inferred resources to indicated and will be incorporated into a future MRE update. However, true widths have not yet been established.

Classification and evidence
Bonanza Interceptpositive
Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.
Why it applies: Hole SR26-504 returned 51.6 g/t gold over 2.25 m, including 84.1 g/t gold over 1.25 m, which are exceptionally high grades for gold in an open pit setting (above 5 g/t exceptional threshold).
Evidence · text
“hole SR26-504 returned 51.6 g/t gold over 2.25 m, including 84.1 g/t gold over 1.25 m”
Bonanza Interceptpositive
Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.
Why it applies: Hole SR26-509 returned 27.9 g/t gold over 4.15 m, including 65.0 g/t gold over 1.65 m, which are exceptionally high grades for gold in an open pit setting (above 5 g/t exceptional threshold).
Evidence · text
“hole SR26-509 returned 27.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 4.15 metres (m), including 65.0 g/t gold over 1.65 m”
Step-Out Extensionpositive
Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.
Why it applies: Hole SR26-545 returned 21.9 g/t gold over 4.26 m toward the upper extent of the modelled Fifi vein zone supporting continued expansion of the known mineralisation.
Evidence · text
“hole SR26-545, returned 21.9 g/t gold over 4.26 m toward the upper extent of the modelled Fifi vein zone supporting continued expansion of the known mineralisation”
QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: The release states that results were analyzed at SGS Minerals, and the sampling program included standards, blanks, and duplicate samples, with a secure chain of custody and specific assay methods (fire assay, ICP-AES).
Evidence · text
“Results from samples taken during the 2026 field season were analyzed at SGS Minerals in Burnaby, BC. The sampling program is undertaken under the direction of Lyle Hansen. The majority of drill core is NQ in diameter, with select holes of HQ size primarily taken for geomechanical purposes. Prior to sampling drill core is cut in half lengthwise, with half sent for assay and the remaining half kept in Stewart, BC. Standards, blanks, and duplicate samples were taken at intervals and frequencies that meet or exceed industry best practices. A secure chain of custody is maintained in transporting and storing all samples. Gold is assayed using a fire assay with atomic absorption spectrometry and gravimetric finish when required (+9 g/t gold). Analysis by four acid digestion with multi-element ICP-AES analysis is conducted on all samples with silver and base metal over-limits being re-analyzed by emission spectrometry.”
Apparent Width Onlynegative
Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.
Why it applies: The document explicitly states 'true width of the intervals has not yet been established by drilling' for all reported intercepts.
Evidence · table
“Core Length; true width of the intervals has not yet been established by drilling”
Context: Core Length; true width of the intervals has not yet been established by drilling
Infill Drillingneutral
Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.
Why it applies: The 2026 drilling program objectives include 'increasing drill density within the existing resource to convert of inferred ounces to indicated'.
Evidence · text
“increasing drill density within the existing resource to convert of inferred ounces to indicated”
Resource Updateneutral
Revised estimate for an existing resource — compare to prior to assess progress.
Why it applies: The document states that 'These new results will be incorporated into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) that is planned for release in the first half of 2027'.
Evidence · text
“These new results will be incorporated into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) that is planned for release in the first half of 2027”

Reasoning: Expanded from assay table. 2 g/t silver is below against the default band [500, 200, 100, 30] g/t. Grade×width 6.0 g/t·m is below.
Negative factors
- 2 g/t silver is below the weak threshold (30 g/t) on the default band.
- Scored from rubric bands during table expansion, not from document context.

QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: qaqc_disclosed is true
Cut-off Undisclosednegative
High-grade interval reported without stating the cut-off grade used for compositing.
Why it applies: no cutoff_grade was stated
Nearology Playneutral
Value premise rests on proximity to a known deposit rather than own results.
Why it applies: proximity is offered as the value premise: "The resource does not include the 27,000 m of diamond drilling that was completed in the summer of 2025, nor the >55,000"

Reasoning: Expanded from assay table. 21.9 g/t gold is exceptional against the open_pit mining band [5, 2, 1, 0.3] g/t. Grade×width 93.3 g/t·m is moderate (grade alone is exceptional; the better of the two is used).
Positive factors
- 21.9 g/t gold is exceptional on the open_pit mining band.
Negative factors
- Scored from rubric bands during table expansion, not from document context.

How Atlas produces this analysis
Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
