Summary
Heliostar Metals Ltd. announced strong drill results from its Ana Paula project in Mexico, including a significant intercept of 52.35 meters grading 5.83 g/t gold from the High Grade Panel. Infill drilling continues to confirm the continuity of high-grade mineralization, while step-out exploration drilling successfully extended the Expansion Zone at depth and to the south and west. These results are intended to support an upcoming Feasibility Study and demonstrate potential for material resource growth beyond the current mine plan.
Reasoning: Heliostar's drill results from the Ana Paula project demonstrate strong continuity of high-grade gold mineralization in the High Grade Panel and successfully extend the Expansion Zone at depth and laterally. These results are critical for the ongoing Feasibility Study and indicate significant potential for resource growth, despite the lack of true width disclosure.
Positive factors
- High-grade gold intercepts, including bonanza grades
- Significant intercept widths
- Confirmation of mineralization continuity in High Grade Panel
- Successful extension of mineralization in Expansion Zone through step-out drilling
- Strong QA/QC disclosure and certified laboratory use
- Drilling supports upcoming Feasibility Study
Negative factors
- True widths are unknown for reported intercepts

QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: The release includes a dedicated 'Quality Assurance / Quality Control' section detailing certified lab use, QP sign-off, and methods like standards and blanks.
Evidence · text
“Quality Assurance / Quality Control Drill core is PQ and HQ size, and the core is cut in half, with half sent for analysis. Core samples were shipped to ALS Limited in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico, for sample preparation and for analysis at the ALS laboratory in North Vancouver. The Zacatecas and North Vancouver ALS facilities are ISO/IEC 17025 certified. Gold was assayed by 30-gram fire assay with atomic absorption spectroscopy finish, and overlimits were analyzed by 30-gram fire assay with gravimetric finish. Control samples comprising certified reference and blank samples were systematically inserted into the sample stream and analyzed as part of the Company's quality assurance / quality control protocol. Statement of Qualified Person Stewart Harris, P.Geo., a Qualified Person, as such term is defined by National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects, has reviewed the scientific and technical information that forms the basis for this news release and has approved the disclosure herein. Mr. Harris is employed as Exploration Manager of the Company.”
Infill Drillingneutral
Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.
Why it applies: The document explicitly states 'infill drill program on the High Grade Panel' and 'Approximately 25,000 metres targeted inferred mineralization in the PEA mine plan to be able to upgrade these areas to support reserve estimates in a Feasibility Study'.
Evidence · text
“Assays in this release are from both the infill drill program on the High Grade Panel and down-dip exploration drilling at the Expansion Zone.”
Step-Out Extensionpositive
Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.
Why it applies: The document mentions 'down-dip exploration drilling at the Expansion Zone' and 'These show that mineralization remains open in multiple directions beyond the deepest drill holes completed to date'. Hole AP-26-412 is described as a '75-metre step-out from the nearest hole'.
Evidence · text
“Assays in this release are from both the infill drill program on the High Grade Panel and down-dip exploration drilling at the Expansion Zone.”
Apparent Width Onlynegative
Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.
Why it applies: The document explicitly states 'True widths are unknown' for the reported intercepts.
Evidence · text
“True widths are unknown.”
PFS-Supportingneutral · Story-specific tag
Resource estimate prepared to support a Pre-Feasibility Study — requires adequate M&I component.
Why it applies: The drilling program is explicitly stated to 'support the upcoming Feasibility Study'.
Evidence · text
“Heliostar has completed the infill drilling program undertaken in 2025-2026 to support the upcoming Feasibility Study.”

How Atlas produces this analysis
Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
