## Minestarters Atlas summary

Gold X2 Mining Inc. announced final assay results from its 2025 drilling campaign at the Moss Gold Project, highlighting a new Superion-style shear with an intercept of 9.0m at 3.13 g/t Au, including 3.95m at 6.94 g/t Au. The program also identified new shallow mineralized shear zones within the conceptual RPEEE pit shell, which were previously modeled as waste, suggesting potential for enhanced project economics. These results indicate continued growth of high-grade mineralization and extensions of existing shears.

Reasoning: The drill results include a high-grade intercept that is exceptional for the inferred open-pit mining method, significantly exceeding the company's historical average. The discovery of new mineralized shears and extensions within the existing pit shell adds potential for resource growth and improved project economics. Comprehensive QA/QC procedures and true width disclosures enhance confidence in the results.

- Positive factor: High-grade intercept \(6.94 g/t Au over 3.95m\) is exceptional for an open-pit gold deposit and significantly above the company's average grade.

- Positive factor: Discovery of a new Superion-style shear zone indicates potential for resource expansion.

- Positive factor: Identification of new shallow mineralized shear zones within the conceptual RPEEE pit shell, previously modeled as waste, offers opportunity to enhance project economics by lowering strip ratios.

- Positive factor: True widths are disclosed for all reported intercepts, adding confidence to the geometry.

## Classification and evidence

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: The release includes a detailed 'Analytical and QA/QC Procedures' section, mentioning ALS Geochemistry as an accredited lab, and the use of certified reference materials and blank material.

Evidence · text

> Analytical and QA/QC Procedures The HQ diameter drill core has been oriented using ACTIII or equivalent tools and validated in the core shack. All core has been sawed in half cut just off the core orientation line \(bottom of hole\) with the right half \(looking down hole\) of the core bagged and sent a third-party analytical laboratory. The left half of the core was returned to core boxes and is stored at Gold X2's Kashabowie core yard facility. All samples were sent to ALS Geochemistry in Thunder Bay for preparation and analysis was performed in the ALS Vancouver analytical facility. ALS is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada \(SCC\) for the Accreditation of Mineral Analysis Testing Laboratories and CAN-P-4E ISO/IEC 17025. Samples were analysed for gold via fire assay with an AA finish \(" Au-AA23 "\) and 48 pathfinder elements via ICP-MS after four-acid digestion \(" ME-MS61 "\). Samples that assayed over 10 ppm Au were re-run via fire assay with a gravimetric finish \(" Au-GRA21 "\). In addition to ALS quality assurance / quality control \(" QA/QC "\) protocols, Gold X2 has implemented a quality control program for all samples collected through the drilling program. The quality control program was designed by a qualified and independent third party, with a focus on the quality of analytical results for gold. Analytical results are received, imported to our secure on-line database and evaluated to meet our established guidelines to ensure that all sample batches pass industry best practice for analytical quality control. Certified reference materials are considered acceptable if values returned are within three standard deviations of the certified value reported by the manufacture of the material. In addition to the certified reference material, certified blank material is included in the sample stream to monitor contamination during sample preparation. Blank material results are assessed based on the returned gold result being less than ten times the quoted lower detection limit of the analytical method. The results of the on-going analytical quality control program are evaluated and reported to Gold X2 by Orix Geoscience Inc. Qualified Person Peter Flindell, PGeo, MAusIMM, MAIG, Vice-President, Exploration, of the Company, and a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects , has approved the scientific and technical information contained in this news release. Mr. Flindell has verified the data disclosed.

**Compositing Transparent**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Cut-off grade and internal dilution rules are clearly stated for reported intervals.

Why it applies: The document clearly states the cut-off grade of 0.3 g/t Au, a top cut of 30 g/t Au, and a maximum internal waste interval of 5 metres used for calculating intersections.

Evidence · text

> Intersections calculated above a 0.3 g/t Au cut off with a top cut of 30 g/t Au and a maximum internal waste interval of 5 metres.

**QP/CP Signed**

Polarity: positive

Story-specific tag

Definition: Qualified Person \(QP\) or Competent Person \(CP\) named and signed off — a member of a recognized professional association \(e.g., AusIMM, SME, AIG, P.Geo\) with relevant experience.

Why it applies: Peter Flindell, PGeo, MAusIMM, MAIG, Vice-President, Exploration, and a qualified person under NI 43-101, has approved the scientific and technical information.

Evidence · text

> Peter Flindell, PGeo, MAusIMM, MAIG, Vice-President, Exploration, of the Company, and a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects , has approved the scientific and technical information contained in this news release.

**Step-Out Extension**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

Why it applies: The drilling targeted 'additional Superion-style, high-grade marginal shears' and 'the eastern extension of the QES Zone', indicating efforts to expand known mineralization.

Evidence · text

> targeting additional Superion-style, high-grade marginal shears north of the QES Zone and five holes targeting the eastern extension of the QES Zone

**Infill Drilling**

Polarity: neutral

Definition: Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.

Why it applies: Some intercepts are described as 'extensions of existing marginal shears modelled in the current MRE', suggesting infill or resource definition drilling.

Evidence · text

> These intercepts represent extensions of existing marginal shears modelled in the current MRE.

Reasoning: This intercept, while having a weak grade for an open-pit orogenic gold deposit, is notable for its significant length of 16.5m and disclosed true width of 12.3m, contributing to overall resource potential. The true width is disclosed.

- Positive factor: Significant intercept length of 16.5m, which is continuous.

- Positive factor: True width disclosed.

- Positive factor: Grade of 0.65 g/t Au is weak for an open-pit orogenic gold deposit \(weak >= 0.4 g/t Au\).

## How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
