Summary
G Mining Ventures Corp. announced significant gold drill results from its Gurupi and Tocantinzinho projects in Brazil. Drilling at Gurupi extended known mineralization at Blanket and Mandiocal, and confirmed a new near-surface gold discovery at Grodiocal. At Tocantinzinho, drilling below the current pit design confirmed the continuity of mineralization at depth, with an updated MRE and PEA for Gurupi targeted for year-end 2026.
Reasoning: G Mining Ventures reported strong drill results from its Gurupi and Tocantinzinho projects in Brazil, including significant extensions of high-grade gold mineralization at Blanket and Mandiocal, a new near-surface discovery at Grodiocal, and confirmed continuity at depth at TZ. The results are supported by robust QA/QC and QP sign-off, indicating high confidence in the data, though true widths are estimated.
Positive factors
- High-grade intercepts
- Broad intercepts
- Extension of known mineralization
- New gold discovery at Grodiocal
- Confirmation of continuity at depth at TZ
- QA/QC disclosed
- QP signed
Negative factors
- True width is estimated, not precisely measured
Low confidence — this extraction should be reviewed alongside the original source.
Facts used in scoring: 54
Classification and evidence
True Width Disclosedpositive
Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.
Why it applies: The document states 'True width estimated at 95% of the length' for Blanket and 'True width estimated at 85% of the length' for Mandiocal, Grodiocal, and TZ.
Evidence · text
“*True width estimated at 95% of the length”
QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: The release includes a dedicated 'Sampling and Quality Assurance/Quality Control' section detailing laboratory procedures, certified standards, blanks, and field duplicates.
Evidence · text
“Sampling and Quality Assurance/Quality Control ("QA/QC") Disclosure Gurupi assay samples are prepared at ALS Chemex in Parauapebas, Brazil, and Tocantinzinho assay samples are prepared at ALS Chemex in Cuiaba, Brazil. Samples from both projects are analyzed at an accredited laboratory in Lima, Peru, using fire assay and Inductively Coupled Plasma methods. Standard preparation includes crushing to 70% passing 2 mm and pulverizing 250 g to 85% passing 75 μm. Gold assays are performed using a 30 g fire assay with atomic absorption finish, with samples returning >10 g/t Au re-assayed by fire assay with gravimetric finish. When visible gold is present, a 1 kg split is pulverized to 95% passing 106 μm and subjected to screen fire assay for coarse gold evaluation. Duplicate analyses are also completed for added quality control. For a complete description of Gurupi's sample preparation, analytical methods and QA/QC procedures, refer to the technical report for the Gurupi Project dated April 8, 2025 (effective date February 3, 2025), entitled “Mineral Resource Estimate NI 43-101 Technical Report Gurupi Project”. For TZ, refer to the technical report dated April 8, 2025 (effective date February 3, 2025), entitled “Feasibility Study – NI 43-101 Technical Report, Tocantinzinho Gold Project”. The Corporation maintains a rigorous QA/QC program, including the routine insertion of certified standards, blanks, and field duplicates (approximately 10% of all samples). QA/QC results are closely monitored, and any failures are re-assayed to ensure the reliability of reported results.”
QP/CP Signedpositive · Story-specific tag
Qualified Person (QP) or Competent Person (CP) named and signed off — a member of a recognized professional association (e.g., AusIMM, SME, AIG, P.Geo) with relevant experience.
Why it applies: The technical content of the press release has been reviewed and approved by Julie-Anaïs Debreil, Vice President Geology & Resources of GMIN, who is a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
Evidence · text
“The technical content of this press release has been reviewed and approved by Julie-Anaïs Debreil, Vice President Geology & Resources of GMIN, who is a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.”
Step-Out Extensionpositive
Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.
Why it applies: Drilling at Gurupi's Blanket and Mandiocal deposits demonstrates extensions to known mineralization beyond the current MRE and pit shell.
Evidence · text
“At Gurupi, drilling continues to demonstrate extensions to known mineralization at the Blanket (“ Blanket ”) and Mandiocal (“ Mandiocal ”) deposits”
New Discoverypositive · Story-specific tag
No canonical definition is currently available.
Why it applies: Maiden drilling at the Grodiocal target has confirmed a new near-surface gold discovery.
Evidence · text
“maiden drilling at the Grodiocal target (“ Grodiocal ”) has confirmed a new near-surface gold discovery.”
Resource Conversion Potentialpositive · Story-specific tag
No canonical definition is currently available.
Why it applies: Drilling below the current pit design at TZ confirms continuity of mineralization at depth, providing potential for mineral resource conversion or additions.
Evidence · text
“Drilling below the current pit design confirms the continuity of mineralization at depth, while regional exploration is identifying additional opportunities across a broader mineralized corridor.”

Reasoning: This sub-interval shows a strong gold grade over a moderate width, enhancing the overall intercept and confirming continuity of mineralization at depth at TZ. The true width is estimated.
Positive factors
- Strong gold grade
- Moderate intercept length
- Sub-interval within broader mineralization
- Confirmation of continuity at depth
Negative factors
- True width is estimated

Tags used in scoring
True Width Disclosedpositive
Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.
Why it applies: true_width_m is 5.1
QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: qaqc_disclosed is true
Cut-off Undisclosednegative
High-grade interval reported without stating the cut-off grade used for compositing.
Why it applies: no cutoff_grade was stated
Infill Drillingneutral
Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.
Why it applies: drill_program_type is "resource"

How Atlas produces this analysis
Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
