Summary
G Mining Ventures announced exploration drill results from its Gurupi and Tocantinzinho (TZ) projects in Brazil. At Gurupi, drilling extended mineralization at Blanket and Mandiocal, and confirmed a new near-surface gold discovery at Grodiocal with high-grade intercepts. At TZ, drilling below the current pit design confirmed continuity of mineralization at depth, providing potential for resource conversion and additions.
Reasoning: G Mining Ventures reported strong drill results from both its Gurupi and Tocantinzinho projects in Brazil. At Gurupi, drilling extended known mineralization at Blanket and Mandiocal and made a new near-surface discovery at Grodiocal, all with good gold grades. At Tocantinzinho, drilling confirmed mineralization continuity at depth below the current pit, which is positive for resource conversion. The results indicate significant growth potential and are supported by robust QA/QC.
Positive factors
- Significant extensions of mineralization at Gurupi's Blanket and Mandiocal deposits beyond current MRE limits, indicating potential resource growth.
- Maiden drilling at Grodiocal confirmed a new near-surface gold discovery, opening up a new target area.
- Drilling at Tocantinzinho (TZ) confirmed continuity of mineralization at depth below the current pit design, supporting future resource conversion and mine planning.
- High-grade intercepts were reported at both projects, including bonanza grades at Grodiocal and TZ.
- Comprehensive QA/QC procedures are in place and disclosed, including certified labs and QP sign-off.
Negative factors
- True width is estimated rather than precisely measured for all intercepts, which may slightly overstate true thickness.

Evidence · text
“Sampling and Quality Assurance/Quality Control ("QA/QC") Disclosure Gurupi assay samples are prepared at ALS Chemex in Parauapebas, Brazil, and Tocantinzinho assay samples are prepared at ALS Chemex in Cuiaba, Brazil. Samples from both projects are analyzed at an accredited laboratory in Lima, Peru, using fire assay and Inductively Coupled Plasma methods. Standard preparation includes crushing to 70% passing 2 mm and pulverizing 250 g to 85% passing 75 μm. Gold assays are performed using a 30 g fire assay with atomic absorption finish, with samples returning >10 g/t Au re-assayed by fire assay with gravimetric finish. When visible gold is present, a 1 kg split is pulverized to 95% passing 106 μm and subjected to screen fire assay for coarse gold evaluation. Duplicate analyses are also completed for added quality control. For a complete description of Gurupi's sample preparation, analytical methods and QA/QC procedures, refer to the technical report for the Gurupi Project dated April 8, 2025 (effective date February 3, 2025), entitled “Mineral Resource Estimate NI 43-101 Technical Report Gurupi Project”. For TZ, refer to the technical report dated April 8, 2025 (effective date February 3, 2025), entitled “Feasibility Study – NI 43-101 Technical Report, Tocantinzinho Gold Project”. The Corporation maintains a rigorous QA/QC program, including the routine insertion of certified standards, blanks, and field duplicates (approximately 10% of all samples). QA/QC results are closely monitored, and any failures are re-assayed to ensure the reliability of reported results. Qualified Person The technical content of this press release has been reviewed and approved by Julie-Anaïs Debreil, Vice President Geology & Resources of GMIN, who is a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.”

Reasoning: This high-grade sub-interval at TZ is a very strong result, highlighting a significant gold zone and confirming continuity at depth.
Positive factors
- High-grade sub-interval, indicating a richer zone.
- Confirms continuity of mineralization at depth below the current pit design.
- True width is estimated at 85% of the length, providing better geological context.

Tags used in scoring
True Width Disclosedpositive
Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.
Why it applies: true_width_m is 5.1
QA/QC Disclosedpositive
Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).
Why it applies: qaqc_disclosed is true
Cut-off Undisclosednegative
High-grade interval reported without stating the cut-off grade used for compositing.
Why it applies: no cutoff_grade was stated
Infill Drillingneutral
Confirmatory drilling to raise resource confidence, not new discovery.
Why it applies: drill_program_type is "resource"

Reasoning: This intercept at TZ confirms continuity of mineralization at depth with a good grade, supporting potential resource conversion and additions.
Positive factors
- Good grade over a moderate width.
- Confirms continuity of mineralization at depth below the current pit design.
- True width is estimated at 85% of the length, providing better geological context.

How Atlas produces this analysis
Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
