## Minestarters Atlas summary

CopperEx Resources Corp. announced results from a 7,902-meter surface trenching program at its Exploradora Norte Project in Northern Chile. The program, conducted at the ADLP and Sorpresa prospects, returned several significant gold intercepts, including 40 meters at 0.26 g/t gold and 30 meters at 0.30 g/t gold at ADLP, and 47.50 meters at 0.20 g/t gold at Sorpresa. These results will be used to guide an upcoming diamond drilling program designed to expand the gold mineralized footprint.

Reasoning: The trenching program successfully delineated gold mineralization at the ADLP and Sorpresa zones with several wide intercepts, providing valuable data for the next phase of diamond drilling, despite the generally low-grade nature of the mineralization.

- Positive factor: Wide gold intercepts from trenching program

- Positive factor: Results will guide upcoming diamond drilling to expand mineralized footprint

- Positive factor: Comprehensive QA/QC procedures disclosed

- Positive factor: Qualified Person sign-off

- Negative factor: Gold grades are generally low, typical for bulk tonnage targets

- Negative factor: Several trenches reported no significant results

Low confidence — this extraction should be reviewed alongside the original source.

## Classification and evidence

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: The release details the use of Andes Analytical Assay Spa. \(AAA\) which is ISO 17025:2017 certified, and CopperEx's internal QA/QC program including blanks, standards, and duplicates, with sign-off by a Qualified Person.

Evidence · text

> Samples \(807\) and control samples \(59\) from the 2024 Trenching program have been sent to Andes Analytical Assay Spa. \("AAA"\) in Santiago Chile, for preparation and analysis. AAA meets all requirements of International Standards ISO 17025:2017 that includes ISO 9001 requirements for analytical procedures. Samples were analyzed using AAA's Fire Assay Fusion method \(AEF\_AAS\_1E42\) with an EAA finish for gold and by a 43-element four acid digest ICP-MS-OP analysis \(ICP\_AES\_HF43m\), and ICP\_AR01\_MS\_OP01 for mercury determination, with additional analysis for Ore Grade Au \(AEF\_GRV\_1E4\) and Ore Grade Cu \(4A\_HF\_AAS\_1E18SL\). Results are reported in parts per million \(ppm\) and converted to percent \(%\), or grams per tonne \(g/t\) where applicable. In addition to AAA Laboratory quality assurance - quality control \(QA/QC\) protocols, CopperEx implements an internal QA/QC program that includes inserting fine and coarse blank samples \(2.73%\), inserting OREAS series standards \(total 2.60%, including OREAS 153a, OREAS 523, OREAS 601c, OREAS 620, OREAS 502C\) and duplicate samples in the field and laboratory \(1.98%\), obtaining a total of 7.31% CopperEx QAQC control. Qualified Person All scientific and technical information in this news release has been approved by Daniel MacNeil, PGeo, Technical Advisor to the Company. Mr. MacNeil is a qualified person for the purposes of NI 43-101.

**Compositing Transparent**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Cut-off grade and internal dilution rules are clearly stated for reported intervals.

Why it applies: The tables clearly state the cut-off grade \(e.g., 0.05 ppm, 0.25 ppm\) used for each reported interval.

Evidence · table

> 0.05

Context: 0.20

**Apparent Width Only**

Polarity: negative

Definition: Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.

Why it applies: The document states that 'All intervals reported are core lengths, and true thicknesses are yet to be determined. Mineral resource modeling is required before true thicknesses can be estimated.'

Evidence · text

> All intervals reported are core lengths, and true thicknesses are yet to be determined. Mineral resource modeling is required before true thicknesses can be estimated.

## How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
