Minestarters Atlas analysis

Summary

Collective Mining announced exceptional high-grade gold equivalent drill results from step-out drilling at its Apollo project in Colombia, extending the Ramp Zone by 340 meters to the northwest. Key intercepts include 12.10 meters at 11.33 g/t AuEq and 54.00 meters at 2.84 g/t AuEq, along with the discovery of new high-grade CBM veins in previously untested ground. The company is fully funded for its 2026 drilling program, with 95 holes currently awaiting assay results.

Reasoning: Collective Mining reported exceptional high-grade gold equivalent intercepts from step-out drilling into previously untested areas of the Ramp Zone, significantly extending known mineralization. The discovery of new high-grade CBM veins further enhances the project's potential. The program is fully funded, and QA/QC procedures are disclosed, although true widths are estimated, and minor deleterious elements are noted.

QA/QC Disclosedpositive

Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).

Why it applies: The release details QA/QC procedures including the use of ALS accredited laboratories, fire assay, ICP-AES/ICP-MS, and insertion of blanks, duplicates, and certified reference standards.

Evidence · text

“Samples were cut by Company personnel at Collective Mining's core facility in Caldas, Colombia. Diamond drill core was sawn and then sampled in maximum 2-meter intervals, stopping at geological boundaries. Drill hole core diameter is a mix of PQ, HQ and NQ depending on the depth of the drill hole. Core samples were prepared and analyzed at ALS laboratory facilities in Medellín, Colombia and Lima, Peru for copper, gold and silver assays, and multi-element ICP. ALS is an accredited laboratory which is independent of the Company. Gold assays were obtained by fire assay fusion with AAS finish on a 50 g sample (Au-AA24). Any samples returning greater than 10 g/t were reanalyzed by fire assay with gravimetric finish on a 50 g sample (Au-GRA22). Copper and silver were assayed by inductively coupled plasma–atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) and inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) following a 4-acid digestion. Samples were also analyzed for a suite of 48 elements with ME-MS61 plus mercury and a sequential copper leach analysis was completed on each sample with copper greater than 10,000 parts per million. Blanks, duplicates, and certified reference standards were inserted into the sample stream to monitor laboratory performance. Crush rejects and pulps were retained and stored in a secured storage facility for future assay verification. No capping has been applied to sample composites. The Company utilizes a rigorous, industry-standard QA/QC program.”

Apparent Width Onlynegative

Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.

Why it applies: The document states that intervals are down-hole lengths and estimated true widths range from 60% to 100% of reported intervals, but does not provide specific true widths for each intercept.

Evidence · text

“Intervals are down-hole lengths. Estimated true widths range from 60% to 100% of reported intervals.”

Deleterious Elements Presentnegative

Penalty elements (arsenic, antimony, etc.) or refractory concerns noted in the release.

Why it applies: The mineralization is accompanied by minor bismuth, tellurium, and locally arsenopyrite-bearing sulphides.

Evidence · text

“mineralization occurs with pyrite and pyrrhotite, accompanied by minor bismuth, tellurium, and locally arsenopyrite-bearing sulphides”

How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
