Analysis by Minestarters Atlas

Minestarters Atlas analysis

Summary

Bold Ventures Inc. announced additional drill results from holes BL-26-03 and BL-26-04a at its Burchell Project, identifying gold, zinc, and copper mineralization in volcanic contact zones. The results are considered encouraging and will inform future exploration, with a Phase II drilling program already completed and results pending. The company also re-disclosed previously announced results for holes BL-26-01 and BL-26-02.

Reasoning: Bold Ventures announced additional drill results from its Burchell Project, identifying gold, zinc, and copper mineralization in volcanic contact zones and a new exploration target. While QA/QC protocols are disclosed, true widths remain unknown, and some results are re-disclosed historical data.

Positive factors

  • QA/QC disclosed
  • New exploration targets identified
  • Confirmation of mineralization in volcanic contact zones

Negative factors

  • Apparent Width Only
  • Stale Data Re-release

Facts used in scoring: 24

Atlas analysis — Bold Ventures Inc.: Bold Ventures Announces Additional Results from Drilling at Burchell. 0.13 g/t over 7.15 m; 0.08 g/t over 4.9 m; 0.23 g/t over 0.46 m

Classification and evidence

QA/QC Disclosedpositive

Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods (blanks, standards, duplicates).

Why it applies: The release explicitly mentions the use of Activation Laboratories (Actlabs), which is ISO / IEC 17025 accredited, and details the insertion of blanks, standards, and duplicates, with sign-off by a Qualified Person.

Evidence · text

“Core samples were cut by diamond saw under supervision of the QP, placed in sealed bags, and driven to Activation Laboratories (Actabs) in Thunder Bay, which is an ISO / IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. Blank and standard certified reference material were inserted into the sample sequence at a rate of 4% each, with an additional 4% of samples designated for duplicate analysis of the sample reject. All samples were analyzed using ActLabs method 1A2-50, a 50g fire assay with atomic absorption finish, and 1F2, a total digestion with ICP-OES finish for trace elements. The technical information in this news release was reviewed and approved by Coleman Robertson, B.Sc., P. Geo., the Company's V.P. Exploration and a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101.”

Apparent Width Onlynegative

Interval given as downhole width with no true width or drill orientation — apparent width may overstate true thickness.

Why it applies: The document explicitly states that true widths of the anomalous zones are unknown.

Evidence · table

“Note: True widths of anomalous gold and base metal zones are unknown.”

Stale Data Re-releasenegative

Historical results re-announced with no new assays or reinterpretation — low genuine novelty.

Why it applies: Results from holes BL-26-01 and BL-26-02 were previously disclosed in a news release dated March 19, 2026.

Evidence · text

“Results from holes BL-26-01 and BL-26-02 are discussed in Bold's news release dated March 19, 2026”

Step-Out Extensionpositive

Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

Why it applies: The drilling targeted new areas and identified new exploration targets, including the intrusive unit in hole BL-26-04a and volcanic contact zones.

Evidence · text

“The intrusive unit with low gold anomalies intersected in hole BL-26-04a is intriguing and indicates another exploration target on the Burchell property.”

How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
