## Minestarters Atlas summary

LAURION Mineral Exploration announced drill results from its Summer 2025 exploration program at the Ishkõday Project in Greenstone, Ontario, targeting gold-bearing vein systems. The program, which included holes LME25-061 and LME25-062, aimed to define gold mineralization north and northeast of the historic Brenbar Shaft. While the company reported encouraging results and confirmed continuity, most intercepts showed low to weak gold grades for an orogenic deposit, with a highlight of 0.50m at 5.18 g/t Au.

Reasoning: The drill results are from an exploration program targeting gold-bearing vein systems, with the company reporting encouraging results and confirming continuity. However, most intercepts show low to weak gold grades for an orogenic deposit, with only one moderate grade intercept. The disclosure of true width estimates and comprehensive QA/QC protocols are positive, but a boilerplate disclaimer about grab/channel samples creates ambiguity regarding the nature of the reported assays.

- Positive factor: True Width Disclosed

- Positive factor: QA/QC Disclosed

- Positive factor: QP Signed

Low confidence — this extraction should be reviewed alongside the original source.

## Classification and evidence

**True Width Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.

Why it applies: The release states that 'true widths are estimated at ~70–90% of reported intervals,' providing an estimate for the actual thickness of the mineralization.

Evidence · text

> true widths are estimated at ~70–90% of reported intervals

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: The release includes a detailed section on 'Sampling and QA/QC Protocols' outlining the use of external standards, blanks, duplicates, and re-assays by ALS facilities.

Evidence · text

> Sampling and QA/QC Protocols All drill core is transported and stored inside the core facility located at the Ishkõday Project in Greenstone, Ontario. LAURION employs an industry standard system of external standards, blanks and duplicates for all of its sampling, in addition to the QA/QC protocol employed by the laboratory. After logging, core samples were identified and then cut in half along core axis in the same building and then zip tied individually in plastic sample bags with a bar code. Approximately five or six of these individual bags were then stacked into a “rice” white material bag and stored on a skid for final shipment to the laboratory. All core samples were shipped to the ALS facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario, which were then prepared by ALS Global Geochemistry in Thunder Bay and analyzed by ALS Global Analytical Lab in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Samples are processed by 4-acid digestion and analyzed by fire assay on 50 g pulps and ICP-AES \(InductivelyCoupledPlasma – AtomicElement-Spectroscopy\). Over limit analyses are reprocessed with gravimetric finish. A total of 5% blanks and 5% standard are inserted randomly within all samples. 5% of the best assay result pulps were sent for re-assays. All QAQC were verified, and no contamination or bias have been observed.

**QP/CP Signed**

Polarity: positive

Story-specific tag

Definition: Qualified Person \(QP\) or Competent Person \(CP\) named and signed off — a member of a recognized professional association \(e.g., AusIMM, SME, AIG, P.Geo\) with relevant experience.

Why it applies: The technical contents of the release were reviewed and approved by Jean-Philippe Paiement, PGeo, MSc, a consultant to LAURION and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Evidence · text

> Jean-Philippe Paiement, PGeo, MSc, a consultant to LAURION and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects

**Narrow Intercepts**

Polarity: negative

Story-specific tag

Definition: No canonical definition is currently available.

Why it applies: Most reported intercepts are less than 3 meters in core length, with many being 1 meter or less, which are considered narrow for potential mining scenarios.

Evidence · table

> 0.8

Context: LME25-061

**Exploration Drilling**

Polarity: neutral

Story-specific tag

Definition: No canonical definition is currently available.

Why it applies: The program is described as a 'Summer 2025 drill exploration program' designed to 'evaluate the mineralized system' and 'test continuity and strike length,' indicating an exploration objective.

- Positive factor: True Width Disclosed

- Positive factor: QA/QC Disclosed

- Positive factor: QP Signed

- Negative factor: Low Grades for Deposit Type

- Negative factor: Narrow Intercepts

#### Tags used in scoring

**True Width Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.

Why it applies: true\_width\_m is 0.4

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: qaqc\_disclosed is true

**Cut-off Undisclosed**

Polarity: negative

Definition: High-grade interval reported without stating the cut-off grade used for compositing.

Why it applies: no cutoff\_grade was stated

## How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
