## Minestarters Atlas summary

Alpha Exploration Ltd. announced a second batch of drill results from its Aburna Gold Project in Eritrea, highlighting significant gold intercepts at the Northeast prospect, including 7 meters grading 7.09 g/t gold within 19 meters grading 3.18 g/t gold. The exploration drilling successfully expanded the mineralization footprint and identified new shallow zones, with step-out drilling extending into untested areas. Additionally, first-pass drilling at the Far Southwest target returned gold mineralization 1.7 kilometers along trend from the Hill 52 prospect, indicating district-scale potential for the Aburna corridor.

Reasoning: The drill results show multiple high-grade and significant width gold intercepts, successfully expanding the known mineralization at the Northeast prospect and extending it to new targets. The transparent QA/QC and compositing disclosures add confidence to the results, indicating strong exploration success and potential for further growth.

- Positive factor: High-grade gold intercepts, including 7.09 g/t over 7m and 8.88 g/t over 2m, demonstrate strong mineralization.

- Positive factor: Significant widths of mineralization, such as 19m at 3.18 g/t Au and 21m at 0.49 g/t Au, indicate potential for bulk tonnage.

- Positive factor: Drilling successfully expanded the gold mineralization footprint at the Northeast prospect and identified new shallow zones.

- Positive factor: Step-out drilling extended mineralization into previously untested areas, showing strong potential for additional expansion.

- Positive factor: First-pass drilling at the Far Southwest target returned gold mineralization 1.7 km along trend from the Hill 52 prospect, indicating district-scale potential.

- Positive factor: Comprehensive QA/QC procedures are disclosed, including independent accredited laboratories, certified reference materials, blanks, and duplicates.

- Positive factor: True width estimates \(70-90% of drilled intersections\) and compositing parameters \(cut-off grade, internal dilution\) are transparently disclosed.

- Negative factor: No specific deposit type is stated, which can make grade interpretation relative to deposit style less precise.

- Negative factor: The IP target drilling did not return significant gold mineralization.

Evidence · table

> 7.00

Context: 7.09

**Bonanza Intercept**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.

Why it applies: Drill hole ABD032 intersected 2.00 m grading 8.88 g/t gold, which is well above the exceptional threshold for open-pit gold \(5 g/t\).

Evidence · table

> 2.00

Context: 8.88

**Step-Out Extension**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

Why it applies: The drill holes were designed to expand the footprint of the gold mineralization and represent 'step-outs' from previously interpreted edges.

Evidence · text

> All the drill holes represent 'step-outs' from the previously interpreted edges of the drilled gold mineralization.

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: The release details QA/QC procedures, including independent accredited laboratories \(Intertek, NABRO\), certified reference materials \(OREAS\), blanks, and duplicate samples.

Evidence · text

> The results reported here for the Reverse Circulation \("RC"\) and Diamond Core \("DC"\) drilling were analysed by Intertek Minerals Ltd., an independent and accredited laboratory located in Tarkwa, Ghana. The RC and DC drilling was managed by Alpha Exploration's field team with the field operations conducted in-line with the standard operating procedures implemented at this project. Alpha uses an independent laboratory in Asmara \(NABRO\) to prepare drill samples for assaying. Representative one-metre samples from the RC drilling and half core samples of the NQ size and quarter core for HQ and PQ size, were crushed \(to >90% passing 2.0 mm\) and pulverised \(to >85% passing 75 micron\). A scoop sample of approximately 60g for laboratory analysis was taken. The coarse and pulp rejects were stored at Alpha's warehouse in Asmara. The Company uses appropriate duplicate samples and inserts certified reference material from OREAS \(www.ore.com.au\) into the sample stream. NABRO sample preparation facility inserts barren granodiorite material into the sample stream as blanks. The 60g sub-samples with inserted QA/QC samples of blanks and certified reference material every 20 th field sample were shipped to Intertek Minerals, Tarkwa, Ghana. The gold results at the laboratory were determined by using a 30g sub-sample for Fire Assay \("FA"\) and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy \("AAS"\) finish \(Intertek Code: FA30/AA\).

**Compositing Transparent**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Cut-off grade and internal dilution rules are clearly stated for reported intervals.

Why it applies: The release states the nominal cut-off grade of 0.20 g/t Au and internal dilution rules \(no more than 6 metres, or 10 metres for some intercepts\) used to determine intersection boundaries.

Evidence · text

> A nominal cut-off grade of 0.20 g/t Au has been used to determine the boundaries of these intersections, with no more than 6 metres of internal dilution of the intercepts. \*A nominal cut-off grade of 0.20 g/t Au has been used to determine the boundaries of these intersections with no more than 10 metres of internal dilution of the intercept.

**True Width Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.

Why it applies: The release estimates true widths range between 70% and 90% of the drilled intersections.

Evidence · text

> Based upon current data and interpretation it is estimated true widths range between 70% and 90% of the drilled intersections.

**Nearology Play**

Polarity: neutral

Definition: Value premise rests on proximity to a known deposit rather than own results.

Why it applies: The Far Southwest target is positioned as being 1.7 km along trend from the Hill 52 prospect, suggesting potential geological connection.

Evidence · text

> This mineralized intercept is located some 1.7 km along trend from the edge of the currently interpreted Hill 52 prospect

## How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
