## Minestarters Atlas summary

Alpha Exploration Ltd. announced new drill results from its 2025 exploration program at the Aburna Gold Project in Eritrea, highlighting significant gold intercepts including 10 metres grading 3.12 g/t gold. The drilling successfully extended mineralization to at least 150 metres vertical depth and tested new targets. The company noted that 80% of the 7km gold trend remains untested, indicating significant exploration upside.

Reasoning: Alpha Exploration reports strong gold drill results from its Aburna Gold Project, including high-grade intercepts and extensions of mineralization to greater depths. The program successfully tested step-out targets, indicating potential for further growth. Robust QA/QC procedures enhance confidence in the results.

- Positive factor: High-grade gold intercepts, including bonanza grades

- Positive factor: Extension of mineralization to greater depths \(150m vertical depth\)

- Positive factor: Step-out drilling confirming continuity and opening new targets

- Positive factor: Comprehensive QA/QC disclosure and accredited lab usage

- Positive factor: True width estimation provided

- Negative factor: Some intercepts are narrow, leading to lower grade-thickness products despite high grades

Low confidence — this extraction should be reviewed alongside the original source.

Facts used in scoring: 14

## Classification and evidence

**Bonanza Intercept**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Exceptionally high-grade zone, well above the deposit-type norm.

Why it applies: Hole ABD026 returned 1.00 metre grading 16.61 g/t gold, which is well above the exceptional threshold for open-pit gold \(5 g/t\).

Evidence · table

> 16.61

Context: 1.00

**QA/QC Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Release includes QA/QC disclosure — certified lab, QP sign-off, or stated methods \(blanks, standards, duplicates\).

Why it applies: The release includes a dedicated 'QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL' section detailing the use of an independent accredited laboratory \(Intertek Minerals Ltd.\), certified reference materials \(standards\), duplicate samples, and barren blanks.

Evidence · text

> QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL The results reported here for the Reverse Circulation \("RC"\) and Diamond Core \("DC"\) drilling were analysed by Intertek Minerals Ltd., an independent and accredited laboratory located in Tarkwa, Ghana. The RC and DC drilling was managed by Alpha Exploration's field team with the field operations conducted in-line with the standard operating procedures implemented at this project. Alpha uses an independent laboratory in Asmara \(NABRO\) to prepare drill samples for assaying. Representative one-metre samples from the RC drilling and half core samples of the HQ & NQ size and quarter core for PQ size, were crushed \(to >90% passing 2.0 mm\) and pulverised \(to >85% passing 75 micron\). A scoop sample of approximately 60g for laboratory analysis was taken. The coarse and pulp rejects were stored at Alpha's warehouse in Asmara. The Company uses appropriate duplicate samples and inserts certified reference material from OREAS \( www.ore.com.au \) into the sample stream. NABRO sample preparation facility inserts barren granodiorite material into the sample stream as blanks. The 60g sub-samples with inserted QA/QC samples of blanks and certified reference material every 20 th field sample were shipped to Intertek Minerals, Tarkwa, Ghana. The gold results at the laboratory were determined by using a 30g sub-sample for Fire Assay \("FA"\) and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy \("AAS"\) finish \(Intertek Code: FA30/AA\).

**QP/CP Signed**

Polarity: positive

Story-specific tag

Definition: Qualified Person \(QP\) or Competent Person \(CP\) named and signed off — a member of a recognized professional association \(e.g., AusIMM, SME, AIG, P.Geo\) with relevant experience.

Why it applies: John Wilton CGeol FGS, CEO & Director of Alpha, is stated as a 'qualified person' for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 and has reviewed, verified, and approved the technical information.

Evidence · text

> All scientific and technical information in this press release, including the results of the Aburna drill program and how these results relate to the ongoing exploration at the Kerkasha Project has been reviewed, verified, and approved by John Wilton CGeol FGS, CEO & Director of Alpha and a "qualified person" for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

**Lab Certified**

Polarity: positive

Story-specific tag

Definition: No canonical definition is currently available.

Why it applies: Intertek Minerals Ltd. is explicitly stated as an 'independent and accredited laboratory'.

Evidence · text

> Intertek Minerals Ltd., an independent and accredited laboratory located in Tarkwa, Ghana.

**Compositing Transparent**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Cut-off grade and internal dilution rules are clearly stated for reported intervals.

Why it applies: The release clearly states the nominal cut-off grades \(0.20 g/t Au and 0.40 g/t Au\) and maximum internal dilution \(3 metres and 2 metres\) used for determining the reported intersections.

Evidence · text

> A nominal cut-off grade of 0.20 g/t Au has been used to determine the boundaries of these intersections with no more than 3 metres of internal dilution of the intercepts. \*A nominal cut-off grade of 0.40 g/t Au has been used to determine the boundaries of these intersections with no more than 2 metres of internal dilution of the intercept.

**Step-Out Extension**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Mineralization extended beyond the previously known limit.

Why it applies: Drillhole ABRD189 represents an approximately 100 metre step out, to the southeast, along its section line, extending mineralization to greater depths.

Evidence · text

> Figure 1 shows the location of ABRD189 on cross section SS-2080 at the Hill 52 prospect. It represents an approximately 100 metre step out, to the southeast, along this section line. It has returned an intercept of 3.12 g/t gold over 10 metres, including two zones of 4.08 and 4.82 g/t gold over 4.00 and 3.00 metres, respectively. This interval is situated some 150 metres vertical depth below surface.

**True Width Disclosed**

Polarity: positive

Definition: Actual thickness perpendicular to structure is stated, not just downhole length.

Why it applies: The document states that 'estimated true widths range between 70% and 90% of the drilled intersections'.

Evidence · text

> Based upon current data and interpretation it is estimated true widths range between 70% and 90% of the drilled intersections.

## How Atlas produces this analysis

Minestarters Atlas uses automated extraction to summarize mining announcements, identify reported measurements, and classify supporting evidence. Sentiment reflects the extracted narrative and classification rules; it is an interpretation, not a reported measurement. Evidence quotes and context are provided where available. Missing data, low-confidence results, and review flags indicate limitations. Check the original publisher announcement before relying on an interpretation.
